Pictures look weird? Now what.

Here you’ll be able to troubleshoot exactly what went wrong with your Polaroid pics and how to improve them.
Setting(s) are off.
If your pictures are blurry, out-of-focus, too dark, or overexposed (see pictures below) your setting(s) are off. The first step to knowing if it’s dark or light in your environment is opening your eyes. If it’s dark use the flash. If it’s bright turn it off. And hold your camera steady. If that’s too difficult then consider using a tripod or placing your camera on a table to avoid blurring.

Your camera failed.
If your picture turned out completely black or white (see pictures above), reach out to our customer service as we’ll need to research why.

Your rollers are dusty.
If your pictures have large dots, underdeveloped patches, or stripes (see pictures below) your camera's rollers need cleaning. Finish your film, open the door, and clean your rollers. Use a cotton bud every 2-3 packs. For the lens use a dry microfiber cloth. Cleaning the outside of your camera requires highly advanced skills. Damp a cloth and wipe. Stick to using water, sweat, or the tears of your enemies. Chemical cleaners cause damage.

You didn’t take good care of your film.
If your pictures have a cold cast, warm cast, or are low contrast (see pictures above) your film is damaged. Film damage is much like a sunburn; it changes color when exposed to light and extreme temperatures. To keep your film in top condition, store it cool, dry, and flat in the fridge. Avoid exposing it to X-ray machines, and never leave it in direct sunlight.
